About the Seiho-kai

Feedback from Seniors

Congratulations to all first year students on your admission.

Basic information about Seiho-kai is provided on this website and in the pamphlet, so I will try to write a more realistic story here as a current member.

What I feel good about joining Seiho-kai is that it resolves my concerns about studying for the bar exam in particular. University is very different from my previous student life in that the majority of study is left to the independent decision of the individual. In this context, it is not difficult to imagine that it is a tough road to pass the National Bar Examination and Preliminary Bar Examination, which are considered to be the most difficult national qualifications. There will be no end to your concerns about how to study law, how to prepare for exam trends, careers, and so on.

However, there are many members of Seiho-kai who are eager to study hard, and you can share information with them on a daily basis. The opportunity to casually talk with seniors who are more advanced in their studies is a rare opportunity at a university. In addition, Seiho-kai has two study rooms: a back room and a front room with many books, a refrigerator, etc.

In the front room, members chat and laugh with each other, ask questions about their studies, and actively interact with each other beyond their grade level. I often go to the front room when I feel stuck in my studies to refresh myself and gain new insights. In particular, I have received a lot of concrete advice from seniors who have passed the bar exam, such as correction of legal papers and pacing of study!

And one of the attractions of Seiho-kai is the free atmosphere. This was one of the main reasons why I decided to take the entrance exam for Seiho-kai. Not only is there no obligation to attend the room, but participation in seminars is also voluntary, so you can study at your own pace without being tied down by the group. I also had both a club activity and a part-time job during my first year, so to joining this organization is also a good option for those who are concerned about their ability to balance their studies and other activities!

Belonging to the Gakkenren and other research groups, including this Seiho-kai, is extremely beneficial for those who are considering taking the bar exam. Through interactions on the second basement floor and basic seminars in the Myogadani Laboratory, you will be able to meet friends who will work hard and engage in friendly competition with you as you study for the bar exam. In fact, I have formed an independent seminar with my friends in the same year and enjoy studying while receiving regular stimulation!

Please consider the Seiho-kai as an opportunity to take the admission examination for the 112th term.

We are sincerely looking forward to your admission!

Please note that it may take some time to respond to questions submitted via the inquiry form. In order to ensure the fairness of the examination, we may withhold an answer depending on the nature of the question. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
